Welcome to the Old Royals' Association!

A personal message from your President - Andrew Bagnall

I joined The Royal Wolverhampton School in 1982 and left in 1989, and it was whilst at ‘Ophney’ that I began voluntary work at Compton Hospice in Wolverhampton as part of a Sixth Form work-experience initiative.

Sport events

The Old Royals’ Association has a healthy group of members committed to our various sports interests. These principally revolve around the annual football, cricket and tennis fixtures against the school.
We are always looking to explore other sports and/or activities such as sponsored swims, runs etc.
In particular, we would be interested to hear from ex-pupils who can participate in and/or help with such sports as basketball; netball; hockey etc. It would be good to see the revival of fixtures against the school in some of these sports. Please contact Simon Farrell or Martin White for further information.
